With Labor Day behind us, summer is unofficially over, and it’s time to start looking forward to fall! This September, Cadbury at Cherry Hill has a variety of events to help you forget your end-of-summer blues and get excited about everything fall has to offer!
If you aren’t quite ready to let go of summer, be sure to head to the annual Community Luau Day on Sept. 15! This event will feature hula entertainment and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a chance to learn how to hula! Break out your grass skirts and leis and get ready have a good time!
The beginning of fall also means the beginning of football season. Join fellow football enthusiasts on Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. to talk about this year’s team, last year’s highlights, and who you think will make it to the Super Bowl this year.
On Sept. 5, celebrate Grandparents Day a little early by coming to our GRANDparents Bingo and Social. This bingo game will feature trivia & fun facts about grandparents as well as refreshments and desserts!
Craving some “guy time”? Join the Cherry Hill Township’s Retired Men’s Club for brunch at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 23 and network with men from all around Cherry Hill!
Ladies, grab your girlfriends and head over to Just Desserts for Ladies at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 and enjoy some quality time and delicious crepes!
Welcome fall by filling your home with the scent of autumn. Come to a special event on Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m. and learn how to make autumnal-scented potpourri. Then, take what you make home with you – for free!
Celebrate Healthy Aging Week by attending a special seminar titled, “Don’t Be A Fall Guy,” designed to help you understand what you can do to prevent falls. The seminar will start at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 24. Come early for special prizes!
Join residents on Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. to learn about and celebrate Rosh Hashanah and wish everyone L’Shanah Tovah!
If you’re interested in staying fit and active this month, there are plenty of opportunities, thanks to Cadbury in Motion, our partnership with Future Fitness. Each Wednesday, join us at noon for a Lunch & Learn, where you can learn about the benefits of exercise and exercises specifically for seniors. Plus, you’ll get a healthy lunch!
