Cadbury Renewed Focus on Health Care

The Charlotte D. Nelson Health Care Center of Cadbury at Cherry Hill has seen many changes since its opening in 1981, but the focus remains on providing the highest quality of care for all of our residents. Most recently, the center has been revitalized with new leadership beginning with the appointment of Megan Nessel, LNHA as associate executive director of Cadbury at Cherry Hill, with oversight of skilled nursing and dining services. Megan has worked at Cadbury at Cherry Hill for the past 10 years, mostly in Human Resources.

I came to Cadbury in September 2013, after a long career in sub-acute care development and long-term care administration in Gloucester County. With more than 17 years of experience in long-term care, I’ve developed new sub-acute programs and directed communities with a history of four- and five-star ratings by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Newly-appointed Director of Nursing Tammi Miloszar, RN, has joined the new leadership team with more than 14 years of experience in person-centered care. Rounding out the list, Jennifer Rzuczek, RN, has joined Cadbury at Cherry Hill after managing several retirement communities and helping them achieve high rankings. Everyone looks forward to rebuilding Cadbury’s clinical program and getting it in tip-top shape.

Making sure that nurse staffing levels are appropriate is one of the most important keys to both improving and maintaining quality care. The new leadership team made its first priority examining nursing staffing levels, and we subsequently increased our workforce by hiring employees to add to Cadbury’s already strong base of nurses and aides. Cadbury has many nursing staff that have worked at the Center for more than 10 years—proving their commitment to caring for those in the Cadbury community.

Tune in next time to learn more about new programs available at the Nelson Health Care Center of Cadbury at Cherry Hill!
