Every month is exciting at Cadbury at Cherry Hill! This
August, residents have numerous events to look forward to, such as programs,
special guests, and much more.
Back by popular demand, every Monday at 2:30 p.m., Cadbury at
Cherry Hill residents will be served ice cream in the Main Lobby. It’s a
perfect way to spend a summer afternoon!
On August 5, singer and songwriter Eddie McLoyd will visit
Cadbury at Cherry Hill and perform “A Motown Summer” for residents. Come and
enjoy a show full of upbeat music with friends!
Another musical event will be when John and Lorieann Burgo
visit Cadbury at Cherry Hill on August 11 at 7 p.m. to entertain residents with
a saxophone and vocal duo.
On August 14 at 2 p.m., Cadbury at Cherry Hill residents can watch
a historical presentation “A Different View: Patriots in Petticoats,” which
details the women who helped in the American Revolution.
Friday Cinema Day will take place this month on August 15. Enjoy
popcorn and sodas while watching all the latest movie releases.
Flavian the Mind Reader is coming back to Cadbury at Cherry
Hill on August 19 at 2:30 p.m. Head to
the Oakroom and prepare to be amazed when your mind and thoughts are read.
Do you like to sing? Head to the Lobby on August 21 at 2 p.m.
to sing along to some classic tunes.
On August 28 at 2 p.m., don’t miss the second part of Gerry
Berger’s Trivia on Hollywood’s Golden Years. Watch some classic movie clips and test your cinema knowledge.
The events listed above are only a sample of what Cadbury at
Cherry Hill residents look forward to. There are also weekly exercise classes,
club meetings, religious services, and more.
Director of Activities at Cadbury at Cherry Hill Agnes Tan
describes the program options as “enjoyable and resident centered.” She works
with a committee of residents to choose the events for every month to ensure
that they will interest everyone at the community.
