Cadbury’s Future Fitness Partnership Promotes a Healthy Lifestyle for Community

A look inside Cadbury at Cherry Hill.
Cadbury at Cherry Hill residents now have greater access to quality health and fitness initiatives, thanks to a recent partnership with Future Fitness.

Future Fitness offers a range of classes, from yoga to aquatics, to members in fitness centers throughout New Jersey. The Cadbury at Cherry Hill and Future Fitness partnership gives residents the chance to become a Future Fitness member at a discounted rate while Cadbury at Cherry Hill pays for the one time entrance fee and 50 percent of the monthly membership fee.

“The partnership came about because I am familiar with Future Fitness. I called to make an inquiry about partnering with them for our residents,” Cadbury at Cherry Hill’s CFO Arnie Weiner said. “They have very nice facilities, which are kept very clean, and have a terrific assortment of equipment available.”

Cadbury at Cherry Hill provides the transportation for members to travel to Future Fitness locations. Once there, residents have access to personal trainers who are certified to work with seniors and are knowledgeable in senior health initiatives.

With a new focus on health initiatives on campus, Cadbury at Cherry Hill is also offering weekly “Lunch and Learns” to the entire community. While enjoying a healthy meal prepared by Cadbury at Cherry Hill’s dining services team, residents listen to a speaker discuss fitness and nutrition.

Cadbury at Cherry Hill will also begin to offer health classes, free of charge, to the staff.  Weiner hopes that Cadbury at Cherry Hill will soon add an improved fitness facility, where they can house Future Fitness exercise equipment and trainers on site for residents and staff.

On July 23, Cadbury will host a Future Fitness event on campus to highlight the different programs and equipment offered and inform residents about Future Fitness amenities. So far, 24 residents are enrolled as Future Fitness members, and enjoy options such as physical therapy, yoga and spin classes, aquatics, and other fitness options.

“Part of our mission is to keep people living independently with the best lifestyle possible and promoting the benefits of exercise and nutrition,” Weiner said. “From mobility, stamina, alertness, and sleep, to how you feel about yourself, there are so many benefits to residents with this partnership.”
