Cadbury at Cherry Hill residents have a lot of activities and events to look forward to this month. July will be a time full of celebrations, meetings, trips, and much more!
July highlights include:
Today, Cadbury is celebrating Independence Day with a festive barbecue lunch. Residents and their family members and invited guests can enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the Cadbury staff.
Are you an ice cream fan? Every Monday at 2 p.m., join fellow residents for an ice cream social in the library!
On July 8 at 2:30 p.m., residents can attend a nautical themed “Sail Away Party” with time to socialize and sample delicious food.
The dog days of summer have arrived at Cadbury. On July 11, residents will enjoy “Hot Diggity Dog Day” at 2 p.m., an event full of trivia, facts about the summer, and corn dogs and pigs in a blanket to enjoy.
Meet new Cadbury residents at “New Friends Mingle” on July 15 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the family room. Make new friends or just drop by to say “hello.”
Do you like movie trivia? On July 17, Cadbury is hosting Trivia of Hollywood’s Golden years. Come watch classic movie clips from the 1940s to the 1960s and participate in a fun, friendly trivia quiz after.
Get a taste of Hawaii on July 29 at 2:30 p.m. when Jo Ostroff presents a slideshow of his most recent excursion.
Trips to sign up for:
On July 14, Cadbury residents will head to the Seaport Museum in Philadelphia, the only maritime museum in the city. Sign up and see nautical art and artifacts!
For music lovers, on July 20 there will be a trip to Ocean City Music Pier’s Pops Concerts. Before the show, Cadbury residents will eat a delicious meal at Manco’s.
There are also two trips to experience a wonderful lunch at two local restaurants. On July 17, Cadbury will travel to Carlucci’s Waterfront to eat Italian by the river, and on July 31, the lunch trip will be to Redstone Grill.
